PIZZAZZ -

I created this artwork around or about 2015, can't quite remember.   I didn't try to sell it, I just kept it in my art studio because I liked looking at it.  The colors made me smile and feel happy.  I love, absolutely LOVE drawing or painting roses, but I remember feeling like I didn't want a traditional rose painting.  I wanted something wild with a lot of colors going on in the painting ... and that is exactly what happened here. Paintings don't ALWAYS have to be such serious artistic endeavors, and this was just pure fun!  I guess a person will either love it or hate it, but it appeals to my wild side, and, of course, it it bears a perfect rose in the center of all this riot of color.
