I just finished this painting of Anemones. I love Anemones because of their bold, striking color. This painting was first totally painted in watercolor, and then further enhanced in some areas with colored pencil.
Right the moment, this painting has been submitted for consideration for hanging in an exhibit at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, Virginia.
UPDATE: This painting was on display in November, December, 2021, at The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, Virginia. I now have it back here in my studio and it is available for sale. It is beautifully and professionally framed with a double mat. I love the way the framing has been done.
