Welcome to my website.   I am profoundly drawn to painting flowers of most any sort.  It's what brought me to start creating art in the first place, though I  am now very drawn to studying trees and painting landscapes, and watercolor is taking over a huge part of my life, whereas I used to work mainly in colored pencil.   It is nature, in all her glory, that impels me to create more art, although occasionally I feel the need to cut loose and create an abstract painting, which is freeing and fun, but my first love will always be studying the glories of nature.  I am now drawn to studying the interplay of light and shadow in the wooded areas that surround me.
